What I Eat | Pregnancy Edition | Late 1st & Early 2nd Trimester

I've received some requests to share what I've been eating recently now that I'm pregnant, so I thought I'd bring you along on a typical day during the second half of my first trimester and the first part of my second. Thanks for watching ☺

I can’t describe how happy I am that you are pregnant! Jen, you’re going to be an amazing mother and Don is going to be an amazing father! Winnie and your daughter are so lucky to have you has parents!❤️ I’ve been watching your videos for years and watched you grow as a person. I’m so happy for you and Don, I give you my best wishes☺️

This is a weird question but at what time do you go to bed? I can’t imagine not snacking between dinner and bedtime! but I also go to bed fairly late (which I’m trying to change)

I don’t know if anyone else would find it interesting but I would love to see a daily routine video with that kind of info (your waking time, work out time, cleaning time, bed time…) hahaha I know it’s weird but I love watching other people’s routine and I think yours would be the best one:)

You seem to be doing really well with your water intake, but if for some reason it stops being so easy, try cutting up fruit and putting it in your water. I was fine in my first two trimesters but by the third I just cannot seem to stomach water on it’s own. I put raspberries (frozen or fresh) and sometimes strawberries or blueberries in a large travel bottle of water and it really seems to help!

Hey Jen – loved watching you go through this journey 5 years ago and now rewatching as I’m pregnant with our first child! So thankful we had carrots in the fridge because I saw yours and instantly NEEDED to eat some ?

Enjoyed this, thanks Jen! I was obsessed with fruit in my first & second trimester, now I’m more about berries and not much else fruit wise. I’ve been enjoying a turkey wrap at lunch with lots of vegetables, some avocado for the good fats and a piece of cheese (pasteurised). I too have a food cut off time and eat the most around 4 then I’m mostly done appetite wise. I also love grilled haloumi cheese in a rice salad too, yum! #35 weeks

I have been loving grilled cheese with whole grain bread and some tomato soup, and I also have a small spinach salad on the side. This meal for lunch has been fulfilling but does not make me want to take a nap after. And is also perfect for the winter time.

Hey! I loved this video and it was helpful! I realized it’s okay to eat more smaller meals throughout the day rather than just three large ones. I have trouble thinking of healthier snacks. Can you do a video on that?! 🙂 I’ve been craving both milk and fruit also!

Love all your pregnancy updates, video’s, and bump pic’s ? Jen, I was wondering if you are taking prenatal vitamins? I may have missed your mentioning it. Also may i highly recommend adding some daily citrus fruits and dark leafy greens for the folic acid. I remember in my 1st pregnancy doing the research and reading often about the importance of this DNA building block in mommy-to-be’s diet both during and after pregnancy. You look amazing and so happy! Congratulations again ?
