I also had my little bubba at 23 (husband was 30) and it was the best decision ever. He was not planned, but very wanted. My pregnancy was a breeze (after the first trimester) and I was literally on my feet dining at a café the day after the birth. The birth, which was a water/homebirth was amazing and free of complications. I recommend having babies in your early twenties to anyone who wishes to have children. I have all the energy to run around, play and be present with my son. Everyone thought I was so young to be having a baby, but I would never have had it any other way. You can rise to the challenge and cherish your blessings regardless of age. I can only speak for myself, but 23 was perfect time for me.

Oh I remember this feeling like it was yesterday ? we were off birth control for 12 months and we tried for 7. Now our daughter is 14 months and absolutely perfect ? congrats, mama! This is about to be the craziest most amazing, beautiful journey of your life.

Same thing happened to me last year. Got my implant out in September and found out in November that I was pregnant! My doctor was shocked when I came back in so soon lol. And now I’m sitting here watching you two glowing while holding my sweet five month old baby girl ?
*edit: I had also taken one earlier after my removal and it was a false negative because of the same reason. Tried again days later and got three positives (I know I didn’t need to take three more but I just couldn’t believe it, and honestly still didn’t until visiting the doctor a week later. Longest week of my life lmao!)
Congrats! It’s harder AND easier you will expect in ways you can’t prepare but it’s all so worth it. There’s nothing else like itbwhen the baby is born and the first time you look into their eyes. ?
I love how Conner said “it definitely wasn’t an accident, we’re adults and we know how babies are made, and we knew that there was no contraception.” I have always hated when people call babies accidents especially when there was no protection. Y’all are absolutely awesome!! And this baby is gonna have the best parents ever!! Praying for a healthy and happy pregnancy and delivery! ❤️❤️
I feel like children are never mistakes or accidents, even if unexpected they are surprise gifts!
