Since Jess surprised Holly with her pregnancy announcement, we decided to try a series of old wives tales pregnancy tests live to see if at home DIY pregnancy tests actually work! We tried the sugar pregnancy test, salt pregnancy test, and a few more, and we were surprised when one of them actually worked! Jess thought Holly was going to surprise her BFF with a pregnancy reveal when they took the pregnancy test, but not yet!

Okay, so my first positive pregnancy test was the sugar test. Y’all used too much pee for that one. As far as the other ones, I never tried them. So that was fun to watch. Thanks for this. Xo

The pregnancy tests are 18 dollars, 0.36 dollars per stick, with shipping (to Norway) they’re 51 dollars. Shipping is near twice as expensive.

I wonder if the results would be different if you tested this earlier in your pregnancy?? Since it’s testing for the hormone hcg which drops dramatically in the second trimester.

Okay, so when my great grandma was getting older and a little senile, she used to drink her pee and bathe in it because apparently it had “ health benefits. “ My great grandma was literally the sweetest lady and so when I think about some of the silly and crazy things she did, I just laugh and smile.
