Fun fact, the dollar store pregnancy test said I was pregnant. I tried three much more expensive options from the drugstore that all told me I wasn’t…I’m now 8 weeks. Don’t knock the dollar store pregnancy tests

I bought one from the 99 cents store and left it in my bathroom (unused, unopened) for several months. In January, my husband lost his job unexpectedly, so when my period didn’t come, I wrote it off as stress because I was the only one making any income at the time. I ended up falling and popping my cervical and thoracic vertebrae (bones in the neck and upper back), and started getting incredibly nauseous during my physical therapy. My husband is actually the one who said he thought I was pregnant and to take the test I had bought months before, and it came up positive. Went to Planned Parenthood for confirmation that day, and they also got a positive.

One thing I will say is that if you use a cheap pregnancy test, get one with PINK dye. Blue dye ones often give false positives and the ink bleeds, making them inconclusive. Pink dyes, for whatever reason, will give you a more accurate reading.

Sammy lynne I used the 88 cent ones from Walmart for all 3 kids and they were accurate! They’re the same ones they use at the doctors office lol idk why people think spending more = better

    Megan: I know I’m 5 months pregnant?
Daysha: I just had my period; I think I’m okay. ?
Then there’s Sheridan: What if I find out I’m pregnant and what if I find out right now? ??

This is how I found out I was pregnant like 3 weeks ago. Went to the dollar tree, bought a $1 test (the Assured Pregnancy test) as mentioned in this video and it came back positive. And yes. I went to the gyno afterwards and I am pregnant lol. Why waste $16+ on a pregnancy test when you can just go to the doctors and take a $1 one lol. Seriously though. It works.

God Zilla she literally said in her original comment she WENT TO THE DOCTORS and it was CONFIRMED. Also it’s her choice rather she tells people immediately or not ??‍♀️ maybe if she miscarries she wants support from her loved ones. Miscarriage isn’t some top secret thing to be ashamed of after all.

When I was 12 I was at the dollar store with a bunch of my girl friends and we took tests and mine and 1 other persons said positive and the other 2 were negative. None of us were pregnant ?

I used a $1 test at 1 week 4 days and it was extremely faint, but it came back positive. Went to the docs to confirm with a blood test and my levels were so low, they made me wait three more days to say yes, I was pregnant. But yeah, 1.5 weeks pregnant and the dollar store test picked it up!

Ashley Sanchez hello she went to her doctor that’s what they told her not every woman is the same you were not present at any appointments and or pregnancy relax as a woman you should know we’re all not the same

@Betsy Soto At 3 weeks pregnant you cannot see anything in an ultrasound. At 5 weeks pregnant only the sac is usually seen. Week 2 of pregnancy is when conception happens, week 3 is when implantation happens, & week 4 is when a Pregnancy test should show positive at the time you miss your period.

    3. Betsy Soto

Ashley Sanchez not all the time it’s mostly by when you conceived for example I have irregular periods when I found out I was pregnant with my second going from my last period I would have been 2 months but when went for an ultrasound baby was measuring 3 weeks so I conceived later.

    4. Ashley Sanchez

You weren’t 1.5 weeks pregnant it was 1.5 weeks post conception. You were actually 3.5 weeks pregnant. If you’re period is 28 days, the day you miss your period you’d actually be 4 weeks pregnant. Pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period.
